Implant retained dentures offer a superior alternative to traditional dentures for replacing missing teeth. Unlike traditional dentures which use adhesive, implant retained dentures are held in place with implant screws that are fitted into the jaw. Dentures then click on these supporting screws, making them more stable, more comfortable and more natural looking than traditional dentures.
We will book you a free consultation with our experienced dentist. They will talk through your options and assess if implants are the right treatment for you. You will usually need an X-ray or CT scan.
At a follow up appointment, your implants will be placed in the jaw.
While we wait for the area to heal, we will offer you temporary dentures to wear.
Finally, we’ll be able to fit you for your personal dentures and you’ll leave the practice with a brand new, completely stable smile.
We will provide you with aftercare support and give you the information you need to look after your teeth.
